Ahmedabad Mall – The Main Attraction of Ahmedabad City

Behold for indeed one of the heftiest investments and the so called centre of attraction of Ahmedabad City. It is in fact a shopper’s delight.  And above all, it is an Engineering marvel. Yes, The Amdavadis may always have got it right; we are here talking about the AlphaOne Ahmedabad Mall.

It is the construction of this is place, which has been designed in such a manner, that it’s a heavy piece of attraction for all. Commenced in the year 2005, when there is a multi-billionaire firm named Alpha Corp bought 35,000 sq. feet of the land from AUDA< more commonly known as Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority, for a heavy price of such whopping Rs 55 crore in an auction.

The construction and the design of the mall is done in such a manner, that it creates a mood of retreat for everyone. The mall was definitely facing some loads of protests and even other such stuff, because definitely a non- vegetarian food franchise, like KFC, was being opened definitely as one of the outlets in the so called Alpha One despite the fact that most of the localities are purely vegetarians. Even there is the presence of Cinepolis, a multi-screen movieplex, which was basically protested against as it was the very close to a religious property.

Well, the definitely withstanding the complete protests, now we definitely see what actually seems unbelievable to eyes. As well there is a result, that this is the very first KFC outlet in Gujarat, at the city of Ahmedabad. A Good amount was definitely said to spend in the process of construction itself.

That actually brought the total investment up to about 500 crores. But even at that amount it seems less compared to the complete beauty of the architecture. The structure was designed by the Canada based engineering firm, and the Ahmedabad Mall is always said to cover an area around 12,00,000 sq. foot. It as well is said to boasts of the so called three level parking area, creating some ample parking space for around a figure of 1300 cars and 2000 two wheelers.

There are indeed 210 retail outlets and even some brand stores that are completely housed within the so called premises of the mall. The most recent one, is the Being Human retail outlet, a charitable organization. There are as well some three Anchor stores, some authentic Hyper City, Lifestyle and Shopper’s Stop, among them Hyper City being the larger one. Even the brand outlets include the outlets like Adidas, The United Colors of Benetton, Samsung, HP, JBL, Reebok, even Woodland, Nike, Levi’s, and many more.
